What we will never do to you.

I worked as a technician, then owned a shop, the same as you — paying fees that grew a little every year, and handing a percentage of the takings to a booking system, even for clients I brought in myself.

If you have ever been charged a percentage for someone who found you through your own Instagram, Facebook or Google page, you know exactly how that feels.

I built Book AZ on one promise: a shop owner's work should be respected.

• We never take a percentage of your work.

  No cut of the service price on a booking. No fee for a new client. You earn the money. You deserve to keep it.

• A client who came to you is your client.

  However they heard about you — Instagram, Facebook, Google, or any other way you get your shop known — they are yours. We will never call them "a client we brought you" and charge you for it.

• A steady price. And if it ever has to change, we say so plainly.

  We keep the rate you signed up at for as long as you use Book AZ, unless a major economic shift forces us to adjust it. If that happens, we tell you in advance and explain why, so you have time to think before any new rate applies. No quiet increases. No moving you to a dearer plan and asking you to pay for it.

• Your client information always belongs to you.

  You can export your whole client list and their details any day. If you ever decide to stop using Book AZ, you take all of it with you — no phone call to ask permission. We do not hold your data to keep you here.

• Your booking page is for your shop alone.

  We never advertise another shop on your page, and never show "similar shops nearby" while someone is booking with you. You did the work to bring that client in. We respect that.

• We grow by helping your shop grow.

  Before we build anything we ask one question: does this help the owner keep more money, or save time? If not, we do not build it.
